Wednesday, November 16th the Gateway stage features Alexa Kriss and Cindy Boehler.
“Alexa, at just 20 years old is an amazing talent writing, singing and performing her own music. We met several years ago backstage at one of her shows and her focus and determination at such a young age was impressive. It's a tough business that takes it all, and she has it all to give.”
— Steve Ivey, IMI -Billboard #1 Producer
Thursday, November 17th Gateway welcomes Habitat 4 Harmony to the stage.
All four gentlemen live and work in Kearney. Mark, our baritone, is married to Chris and works at Spelts-Schultz Millshop. Clyde sings Tenor and is retired. He and his wife, Joan E., formerly owned and managed an air service.Kirby sings lead, and he and his wife, Amy own and run their own company, ASK Supply Company, LLC, a business solutions and supplies company and also New Hope Creations, a creative Arts Company. Fran is married to Jan, sings bass, is retired from teaching, but works occasionally as a carpenter & cabinet builder.
In addition to performances in Nebraska (including State and County Fairs), they have entertained in several neighboring states with “Good Ol’ Barbershop,” comedy, parodies, country westerns, spirituals and other religious numbers. The rest of their repertoire has no identifiable category but is simply fun to sing. If you’ve heard some of their songs before, please refrain from singing along---they’re embarrassed when you remember them better than they do.
